Abstract

The aim of this research is to shed light on the theoretical aspects of the concept of emotional intelligence. The aim was achieved by setting two objectives: first, the article defines the concept of emotional intelligence, and in the second part, it reveals the structure of emotional intelligence. The analysis of the scientific literature has shown that emotional intelligence enables people to identify, monitor, understand and manage their emotions, as it relates to motivation to work and to build successful relationships.
